Lockdown - Postcards from Pembrokeshire

Over the past 12 months, in common with people throughout the world, the people of Wales have spent extended periods of time in Covid Lockdown. For many, travel, by anything other than on foot, has been restricted. The images I post here have been taken by me over the past few months, they represent glimpses of thoughts, feelings and brief experiences of my personal journey through Lockdown.

Lockdown - Postcards from Pembrokeshire

I write this on 23rd March 2021, which is the eve of the one year anniversary of the beginning of the first UK Covid Lockdown. Today at midday, many people took part in a silent vigil for those who have lost their lives through Covid or Covid related deaths over the past year. I joined the silence, it felt beautiful, a wave of remembrance and unity. An unspoken solidarity that was like poetry or prayer - the silence rang like a bell, it felt tangible. Somehow it refreshed me and I was able to renew my personal determination for humanity to find a global solution to our collective suffering.
